About Strip Set Fly
My name is Troy Schmidt. I am the owner and operator of Strip Set Fly. With many years on the river, and even more years of experience with fly fishing, it is my pleasure to share this with you. I have studied the art of fly fishing and fly tying for over a decade. I believe that fly fishing is more than just a way of fishing, it is a way of life.

We offer a variety of fishing trips to cater to all skill levels and preferences. Whether you're a seasoned fly angler looking for a challenge or a beginner looking to learn the basics, we've got you covered. Our services include guided fishing trips, fly casting lessons, and fly tying. We also offer custom trips to fit your specific needs.
Our Locations
We operate in some of the most beautiful and productive fishing locations in central Minnesota. Based out of Little Falls, MN, my team knows these waters well and is always exploring new fishing spots to share with our clients. From small streams to lakes and rivers, we will put you on the fish.
Guided trips and Pricing
Half Day
Half day trips (4 hours) are $300 for 2 anglers.
-includes quality equipment, hand tied flies and an ice cooler for drinks
FULL DAY
Full day trips (8 hours) are $600 for 2 anglers.

ASK ABOUT OUR TAP OUT SESSIONS
Tap out sessions are a full day experience for those who want to see what they are made out of. The trip would begin before sunrise and end at dusk.
